Pigot (266) cites the Ménestrel of 7 January 1882 regarding a reprise with La Rue as Carmen.

Russian Imperial Opera (Mariinsky Theatre), Saint-Petersburg, 1885-

Due to prolonged works at Mariinsky, this production was premiered at Bolshoi Kamenny nearby. The second cast featured Emilia Karlovna Pavlovskaya in the role of Carmen for only a few performances. Libretto translated into Russian by Alexandra Santagano-Gorchakova.
