Notes:
27 performances were given between 21 April 1883 and the end of the season (from the 49th to the 75th performances of the opera at the Opéra-Comique.) The ’livre de bord’ for the 1882/3 season is missing but figures were reconstituted from Registres OC-22 (1875/6 season) and OC-29 (1883/4 season). Soubies gives 56 performances for 1883, which would englobe both the April revival (with Isaac as Carmen) and the new production in October (with Galli-Marié). For collated performances from Soubies’ volumes, see FMC website: http://music.sas.ac.uk/fmc/collections/bibliographical-resources-and-work-in-progress
